Exhaust Efficiency Ventilation Performance

What It Means
Exhaust efficiency refers to how effectively an exhaust system can move indoor air outdoors in the actual installation environment.
Why It Matters
The airflow value on a product label may not equal real site performance. Long ducts, too many bends, strong wind at the outlet, or poor exterior exhaust conditions may reduce actual performance.

Ventilation Rate / Exhaust Airflow Airflow Volume

What It Means
Ventilation rate or exhaust airflow means the volume of air entering or leaving a space per unit of time. A common unit is m³/h.
Why It Matters
It is an important reference for equipment selection, but it should be reviewed together with room size, duct route, make-up air, and installation conditions.

Duct Termination Exterior Exhaust Outlet

What It Means
Duct termination is the final outlet of an exhaust duct, usually the visible exhaust outlet on an exterior wall.
Why It Matters

Electromagnetic Damper Electric Damper

What It Means
An electromagnetic damper is a damper mechanism that opens and closes automatically with equipment operation. It opens when the equipment runs and closes when the equipment stops.
