Where Should a Steam Generator Be Installed?

The Steam Generator location affects installation, piping connection, service access, and overall appearance. The unit should not only fit the space. Service opening, power cable, water supply, steam pipe route, and future removal should also be considered.

The second option is inside a bathroom cabinet or equipment cabinet. This is common when the space includes a cabinet or storage area. It may make service access easier, but cabinet size, fixing method, piping route, and future removal space still need review.

Hidden installation should not mean sealed installation

Whether above the ceiling or inside a cabinet, the unit should be stable, the piping should connect smoothly, and service work should be possible.

3. Ventilation is usually not the main factor

The Steam Generator location does not usually need to be selected mainly by ventilation.

The Steam Generator location directly affects how the steam pipe is routed.

If the unit is far from the indoor steam outlet or the pipe needs many turns, the piping may become more complicated. A long pipe, too many turns, or low points that collect water may affect steam delivery and future service.
